Tenenbaum Seeks To Lower Damages

Joel Tenenbaum, the Boston student who lost his trial against the RIAA this summer, to the tune of $675,000, is asking the court to lower the damages award against him. The argument is nothing new, just that the statutory damages are so out of proportion to actual damage caused as to be unconstitutional.

We’ll keep an eye on it, but don’t expect much to come of this argument.
