Re: Posner on Copyright. You suggested a national office of information propogation, and various micro-transfer fees. The news media could institute such a thing already. Assign a unique transaction to each user, and attach this to the URL. Deny all urls without the transaction id, and allow each url to grant access to a limited number of http requests, before denying requests. If a blogger wanted to publish deep links they might be forced to purchase a large number of transaction accounts.
