Shepard Fairey v. The AP: Fair Use July 21, 2009
The folks at the IP Colloquium did a great podcast on the Shepard Fairey case. Briefly: He’s engaged in a lawsuit with the AP and a photographer over his use of a photograph in making his iconic “HOPE” Obama Poster. The podcast lays on the legal jargon thick in places, but is a great listen.
